The Bay Area Takeover is comprised of three up-and-coming Bay Area labels and the Bay Area's premier resource for the best new independent music. The first Takeover will be an independent showcase held during the 2008 South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas, which runs from March 12th through the 16th. The event will feature fourteen Bay Area bands, known in the indie world as some of the hottest up-and-coming and under the radar groups.
