SXSW can be a crazy time even for the veterans and the best day organizers. With as much as 1,300 (official SXSW) bands, films, and conferences in town covering a very small physical area, it can be quite hectic for anyone to handle. In recent years, the "boom" of unofficial parties has exploded. Bringing into the playing field not only Texas bands that were not on the SXSW bill, but hundreds of musicians and bands that pack up and head to Texas for the opportunity to play a gig anywhere in Austin. When you get on the Official SXSW web site you are only getting a small dose, a glimpse alomost, of what will really go down, entertainment wise. With tons of unofficial day parties happening all over town countless house parties and other festivals going on at the same time as SXSW it can be very hard to organize yourself in the face of overwhelming entertainment.
